Women in love is "I would have chosen you over the world if I had the privilege to choose". It is "My heart shall pour all of itself till every last drop of blood even if it remains unloved by you" women in love will hold you with such strength and fragility and delicately and might even when she bleeds with the knives of your words stabbing her to death. Women in love will continue to give till the shell of their self deminishes to nothing. Women in love will forever repent for the sins they never committed.

it will fovever pain me to see how misinterpreted women are in romance. I hate it when people generalize things based on gender and all, but how can I not defend women in love when all romance songs are written and sung by men? all the poems by men yearning for women? every play, book, piece of media is made by men and women are called "selfish" "goldiggers" and "bewafa" when it comes to love. Have you heard of Maa Sita? Or Maa Radha? Or any avatar of Mata Lakshmi for that matter? Have you heard of Mata Parvati doing tapasya for thousands of years? Mata Sati burning herself from hearing her husbands insults? Mata Saraswati literally being declared wed the moment she was born and still doing her Patni Dharm? Women can obsess in love, yearn, crave, cry, write, create art, think of their beloved every passing moment and it will never be enough... because there are a 1000 types of men, and then just a *woman*. We are an archetype, a side character, a prize to be won, we are half the population yet so aliented and unknown, we have a "charitra" and can only ever be defined by men either as whore or virgin mary. perhaps I'm an exception but I'm tired of hearing "Men in love this" "Men in love that" okay but have you ever seen a woman in love?

Toonerville Folks was a popular newspaper comic strip in the early Aughts of the 20th Century. In 1920 it was brought to the Silent Screen in a series of shorts as Toonerville Trolley.

One of its characters proved to be a challenge to cast - Powerful Katrinka. She was described as “was a hefty and innocent creature who seemed oblivious to the extent of her own physical strength.” But when Wilna Hervey arrived to audition, the producers knew they found their Katrinka! Wilna stood nearly six-foot-three, and weighed close to 300 pounds.

Dan Mason was cast as the Skipper of the trolley and together the duo made 26 silent shorts together.

While working on the films, Wilna met Mason’s daughter Nan.  The two became close friends and moved in together after the film series ended. The women moved to Woodstock to pursue their love of painting. The two soon became local celebrities. Every year they hosted a flamboyant costume party during which they auctioned art works to raise money for charity.

The couple toured Europe in 1926, as seen in these photos taken in Siena, Italy.

Years later Wilna told a reporter that the only reason she made movies was to earn enough money to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.

Wilna and Nan were together for nearly 60 years, until Wilna’s death in 1979. Nan followed her in 1982. The long time companions are buried side by side in Woodstock, New York.
